DHAKA, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - Education Adviser Professor Dr. C R Abrar visited several SSC and equivalent examination centres in the capital today.
He visited Motijheel Government Boys' High School, Dhanmondi Government Boys' High School, and Mohammadpur Quaderia Tayabia Alia Kamil Madrasa.
After visiting Motijheel Government Boys' High School, he told reporters that the examinations had begun in a peaceful atmosphere.
A total of 19,28,181 candidates are taking part in the SSC and equivalent examinations at 3,715 centres across the country, he added.
The adviser urged all to refrain from spreading rumours about the exams.
He said that such rumours cause mental stress on examinees and their guardians. As the government is taking conscious measures, no incidents of question paper leakage have been reported so far, he added.
The adviser also urged everyone, including journalists and guardians, to remain vigilant about this issue in the coming days.
To ensure fair and copy-free examinations, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee has issued specific guidelines, and law enforcement agencies are on alert against the spread of rumours.
