SAVAR, April 19, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested three individuals last night in connection with the theft of a covered van, which was stolen from Savar area earlier this week.

The arrested suspects were identified as Arman, 22, a resident of Uttar Badda in Dhaka, along with Sujon Mia, 30 and Sohag Mia, 25, both hailing from Mymensingh.

Acting on intelligence, police launched an investigation and conducted a raid in Mymensingh's Fulbaria area last night. The operation led to the arrest of the three suspects, confirmed Shahidur Kabir, Additional Superintendent of Police of the Savar Circle.

According to police sources, the covered van was earlier stolen from a roadside parking spot in Savar on April 15.

The vehicle's owner, Sheikh Mohiuddin, filed a theft case at the Savar Model Police Station shortly after the incident.
