DHAKA, Nov 05, 2021 (BSS) - A fire that broke out at a shoe factory in Soarighat area of the capital at around 1.15 am last night was doused at around 3 am today.
 
"Being informed, a total of 8 units of the fire service rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at around 3am after an effort of two hours," said Lima Khanam, duty officer at control room of Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters.
 
Five workers have died in a fire, said Lima Khanam.
 
Of them, three have identified. They are :Aminur Rahman ,30, Abdur Rahman ,27 and Monir ,40.
 
One of the injured has been identified. His name is Kabir ,32.
