CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 26, 2021 (BSS) - Presidium Member of Awami League Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak said they do politics under the motherly affection of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
 
He said this while addressing an election rally arranged by the Chapainawabganj municipality unit of Awami League at Chapainawabganj Municipality Park as the chief guest this afternoon.  
 
The meeting was held with the president of the municipal unit of Awami League Principal Abdul Jalil in the chair.  
 
Among others, organizing secretary of Awami League SM Kamal Hossain as special guest, mayor candidate of Awami League with boat symbol for the coming election Md. Mokhlesur Rahman and local Awami League leaders spoke in the meeting.
 
Mentioning some examples of development in Chapainawabganj district during the AL tenure Nanak said, Chapainawabganj has got Sheikh Hasina Bridge, 250-bed modern hospital, Jubo Unnayan Bhaban where the youths are getting training on technology and rearing of goats, cows, and chicken.
 
“People of Chapainawabganj are going to get rubber dam over the river Mohananda at a cost of Tk. 200 crores”, he added.
 
He further added that the presence of a huge number of women in the meeting proves that the women of Chapainawabganj have kept in mind what Sheikh Hasina has done for their development.
 
He asked all to vote for the boat symbol to continue the development spree of Chapainawabganj municipality.  
 
SM Kamal Hossain said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given electricity to every house. She has ensured widow allowance, allowance for elderly people, and new books for the students at the beginning of the year.
