DHAKA, July 4, 2021 (BSS) - Halima Begum, mother of general secretary of Narial district Awami League and chairman of Sadar upazila parishad Md Nizam Uddin Khan Nelu, passed away while undergoing treatment at Jashore Sadar hospital last Friday.

She was 82.

She left behind her seven sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Halima Begum.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
