CHANDPUR, Dec 8, 2021 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said if anyone does anything which is not acceptable to the people will have to step down, no matter what position he holds or what political ideology he belongs to.

   "Government will never accept or tolerate anything which is not acceptable to the people of the country and anyone does so will be punished and have to step down, whatever his political identify is", Dipu Moni said while responding to journalists today after inaugurating the Victory fair of Liberation War at Chandpur outer stadium.

   He said some people involved with the government and Awami League made themselves controversial through their irresponsible remarks or behaviors which are very much unfortunate.

  Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan Majlish, Additional SP Sudipta Roy, former FF Commander and Steering Committee Chairman MA Wadud, Fardiganj Municipality Mayor and Freedom Fighter Abul Khayer Patwari, Chandpur Sadar Upazila Chairman Nurul Islam Nazim Dewan and UNO Sanjida Shahnaz, among others, were also present on the occasion.
