DHAKA, Dec 27, 2021 (BSS) - The met office today predicted mainly dry

weather with partly cloudy sky over the country.

     "Weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins of the country and
light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight
till morning", said a met office release here today.

     Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country,
the release said.

     Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining
area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

     Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded by 27.7 degree
Celsius at Cox's Bazar and minimum temperature today was recorded by 08.4
degree Celsius at Tetulia.

     The sun sets at 5:20 pm today and rises at 6:40 am tomorrow in the
capital.
