RAJSHAHI, Dec 30, 2021 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)

recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am for
the second consecutive day today.

     RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the
hospital also recorded zero deaths on Monday and a couple of previous days in
this month.

     Meanwhile, four more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 28, including
seven tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

     Five other patients returned home after being cured during the same
time.

     On the other hand, four more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 187 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Wednesday,
showing a 2.30 percent infection rate in Rajshahi.
