DHAKA, Dec 31, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night to morning.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchgarh and Kurigram districts, and it may continue and spread, the bulletin said.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 29 degree Celsius in Sitakunda and Feni under Chattogram division, while today's minimum temperature was 8.4 degree Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:22 pm today and rises at 6:42 am tomorrow in the capital.
