DHAKA, Jan 01, 2022 (BSS) - A total of 18 persons, including 15 heroic freedom fighters and Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, were honored for their contribution to digital sector. 

   The award was given at the closing ceremony of Bijoy Utshob 2021 held at Multiplan Center in the capital on Friday evening, said a press release here today. 

   Computer City Center Shop Holders Society organized the event on the occasion of birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and golden jubilee of country's independence. 

   General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo league Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Bangladesh Inland Waterways (P.C.) Association President Mahbub Uddin Ahmed, Joint General Secretary of Dhaka South City unit of Awami League Kazi Morshed Hossain were, among others, present.

  Computer City Center Shop Holders Society President Toyfiq Ahoshan presided over the function.
