DHAKA, Jan 5, 2022 (BSS) - A seminar on ‘Climate Change in
Bangladesh’ was held at the Bangladesh Open University (BOU) in
Gazipur today.

   Columbia University's Professor Michael S Stakler attended the
seminar, said a BOU press release.

   Several issues including climate change, precipitation of sea level
rise and decay and landforms were discussed in the seminar.

   Stakler said that the changes that have taken place in the natural
environment, public life and economy due to landforms of Bangladesh in
the last few years should be taken seriously by the concerned policy
makers.

   More than 100 teachers of BOU participated in the seminar.
