CHATTOGRAM, July 02, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Land and Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has lauded CUET students for developing an excellent software for land management.
He said the digital services and software utilized by the Land Ministry have been entirely developed at a very reasonable cost by CUET students using local technology and expertise of Bangladeshi engineers.
Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin was addressing orientation programme of the undergraduate students of 2025-26 academic year at the Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) today.
Congratulating the new students, Mir Helal expressed that by enrolling in CUET, they have become an integral part of the nation's pool of talented students.
To make the journey of the freshers fruitful, the state minister emphasized the importance of hard work, uphold spirit of research, and continuous efforts for personal development.
He noted that CUET alumni are leading many technology institutions in various countries, particularly in USA, UK, Germany, Canada, and France.
CUET students are enhancing the country's image by making their mark in prestigious institutions worldwide, including Google, Amazon, Tesla, Siemens, and Samsung.
The function was presided over by CUET's Director of Student Welfare Dr. Saiful Islam with CUET Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan as the guest of honor. Deans of various departments were also present.
