DHAKA, July 09, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over the country in 24-hour till 9am tomorrow,” said a met office bulletin issued here this morning.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 12 mm at Rajshahi in Rajshahi division.
Country’s maximum temperature yesterday was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division and minimum temperature today was 24.9 degrees Celsius at Rangamati in Chattogram division.
Today’s sunset at 6.50 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at 5.18 am at Dhaka.
