DHAKA, Feb 5, 2022 (BSS) - Goods worth around Taka 2.38 crore,

including about 302 Bhori gold ornaments, diamonds worth Taka 30 lakh
and TK 5 lakh in cash, have been stolen from two Jewellery shops (gold
shops) at Rajanigandha Tower in city's Kachukhet area on Friday night.

    After receiving the news of the theft, the police and crime team
of CID visited the spot this morning and they are collecting various
clues to this end.

   Dhaka Metropolitan Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Delwar
Hossain confirmed it the news agency tonight.

   The shop owner Abul Kalam Bhuiyan claimed that goods worth around
Tk 2.38 crore were stolen from his two shops named Rangapari
Jewelers-1 and Rangapari Jewelers-2.

   The owner filed a case with Vasantek Police Station today.
