DHAKA, Feb 9, 2022 (BSS) - Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM
Mozammel Haque today called upon the valiant freedom fighters to write
their heroic stories of the 1971 Liberation War.
He made the call while speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the
book on 'the freedom fighters' braveness', written by heroic freedom
fighter Md Shahjahan Kabir, Bir Protik, held at the conference room of
the Liberation War Affairs Ministry here.
Addressing as the chief guest, Mozammel said the freedom fighters
should told their heroic tales to build the new generation in the
spirit of the great liberation war.
He said the independent Bangladesh was achieved as a result of the
23 years of struggle and sacrifice under the leadership of Father of
the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
To make independence meaningful, he said, the country has to be
built as Sonar Bangla dreamt by Bangabandhu.
With former secretary Shahjahan Siddiqui, Bir Bikram, in the chair,
it was addressed, among others, by sub-sector commander Mahabub Uddin
Ahmed, Bir Bikram and additional secretary of the ministry Kamrun
Nahar.
