DHAKA, Feb 14, 2022 (BSS) - Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen today

visited 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Street' located in the heart of the
city in Plaine Verte of Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian
Ocean.

  During the visit, the foreign secretary and his entourage also paid
tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,
a foreign ministry press release said here.

  Later, Masud paid a courtesy call on with the Mauritius foreign
minister Alan Ganoo and his counterpart Haymandoyal Dillum where the
whole gamut of bilateral issues was discussed.

  Both the sides have agreed to collaborate in the trade and
investment sector particularly in the Pharmaceutical sector in
Mauritius, cooperation in tourism and IT areas to further enhance the
existing friendly bilateral relations, the release said.

  Foreign secretary went to Mauritius on an official visit on February 13-15.
