DHAKA, July 11, 2021 (BSS) - As per direction of Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, Military Police (MP) Unit of Army today distributed foods among the poor and jobless people to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
  They provided foodstuffs to 100 families in Dhaka Cantonment, Banani and Cantonment Railway Station areas, said a press release.
 
  The General, Provost Marshal, Military Police Corps and others including the Commander of the MP Unit were present.
 
   For the relief activities, the members of all ranks of this unit accumulated their ration money, it added.
 
  It is to be noted that since last January 2021, this unit has provided relief to a total of 200 families.
