DHAKA, July 11, 2021 (BSS) - Vehicular movement on the Langalbandh bridge on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway will remain suspended from July 12 to 14 for deck-slab repairing works at the bridge.
Vehicles may use lanes on one side of the bridge from 8 am to 10 pm on July 12, said a press release of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry here today.
Afterward, vehicular movement will remain completely suspended across the bridge till 12 noon on July 14, the release said.
As alternate routes, light vehicles have been requested to use Mograpara-Kaikartek bridge and Nabiganj-Madanpur road while heavy vehicles can use Kanchpur-Bhulta-Narshingdi-Bhairab bridge and the Sarail-Brahmanbaria-Cumilla road during the period.
Road Transport and Highways Division expressed sorrow for temporary inconvenience of vehicular movement.
Langalbandh bridge is situated in between Kanchpur and Meghna bridges on Dhaka-Chattogram highway.
