DHAKA, Feb 27, 2022 (BSS) - Dhaka city unit of Bangabandhu Parishad held a discussion titled 'Bhasha Andoloner Nepotthey Mul Songghatok Bangabandhu' at its central office here on Saturday on the occasion of the 'Shaheed Dibash' and 'International Mother Language Day'.

   Joint general secretary of the organization Sheikh Abdullah Al Mamun attended it as the chief guest while Vice Chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University Professor Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed was present as special guest.

  City unit Committee President Mohammad Alauddin presided over the discussion while General Secretary Sardar Mahmud Hasan Rubel conducted it.

   Central Member Mizan Ibne Hossain and city unit committee's M Mansur Ali, Professor Samsuddin Elias, Harun-ur-Rashid , Salauddin Al Azad, Dr Asit Majumder, Md Aurangzeb, KM Siddiquzzaman, SM Wahiduzzaman Mintu, Nirmal Biswas, Afsa Ahmed Sanu, Nafiz Hossain Dip, Abdullah Al Amin Ranjan, Dr MA Aziz, Mahjaharul Islam, Paritosh Biswas, Morsheda Khanam Shampa, Arup Das Ujjal, Md Jewel Hossain, Shahnaz Parveen, agriculturist Ziaur Rahman Badal, agriculturist Nur Islam, Md Hasanuzzaman Khan, Saifuzzaman Mintu, Nitish Sarkar, Shakil Babu, Shawkat Akbar, Sheikh Jasim Uddin and Chowdhury Fazle Anwar also spoke it, among others.

  During the discussion, the speakers expressed their firm commitment to spread the outstanding contribution of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the great language movement to the next generation through organizational activities and to make people aware of the proper use of Bengali language.
