SIRAJGANJ, Feb 28, 2022 (BSS) - A partial committee of Sirajganj district

Awami League (AL) was announced today with Advocate KM Hossain Ali Hasan as
president and Abdus Samad Talukder as general secretary.

  AL presidium member Abdur Rahman announced the name of the president and
general secretary after the district Awami League conference today.

  The conference was held at Sirajganj Government College ground. Earlier,
the first session of the conference, was presided over by acting president of
district Awami League Advocate KM Hossain Ali Hasan.

  Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges
Obaidul Quader joined the conference virtually from his official residence as
the chief guest.

  Awami League presidium member Abdur Rahman, joint general secretary and
information and broadcasting minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, organizing secretary
SM Kamal Hossain, Awami League's Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua,
Central Committee member Begum Akhter Jahan, Professor Marina Jahan Kabita,
Tanvir Shakil Joy, MP, Dr. Habibe Millat Munna, MP, Dr. Abdul Aziz, Momin
Mondal, Tanvir Ahmed., among others, spoke on the occasion.
