DHAKA, March 1, 2022 (BSS) - The government has re-fixed the duration of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations closure and decided to keep the stations closed for five hours across the country during the peak-hour of power production from 6pm to 11pm everyday from today.
The CNG stations across the country have been requested to keep closed during the period, said a Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) press release here today.
Vigilance teams of the gas distribution company will regularly monitor to implement the decision, the release said, warning that legal actions will be taken under the Bangladesh Gas Act 2010 against those CNG filling stations who will violate the decision.
The authorities expressed sorrow for temporary inconvenience of the general people.
