DHAKA, March 1, 2022 (BSS) - Primary schools across the country will resume in-person classes from tomorrow, officials said.
"In-person classes will resume tomorrow at all primary schools across the country, maintaining the health guidelines," Public Relations Officer of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin told BSS.
The primary schools were scheduled to be open from March 1, but the date has been shifted to March 2 as the educational institutions remain closed due to the Holy Shab-e-Meraj, a special day to Muslims for worship, he said.
Besides, in-person classes in secondary, higher secondary and universities were resumed on February 22.
The government had announced closure of all educational institutions across the country on January 21 for the rising cases of new Covid-19 variant Omicron.
