DHAKA, March 10, 2022 (BSS) - The Government has decided to appoint Md. Nazmul Islam as the next Bangladesh ambassador to Oman. 

Ambassador-designate Nazmul who is currently serving as the ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden, is belonging to the 15th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS)-Foreign Affairs cadre.
 
A career diplomat Nazmul has served at Bangladesh missions in Jeddah, Beijing, Jakarta and London in various capacities, a press release said today.

He did his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). He also completed several professional training courses both at home and abroad, the release added.
