CHATTOGRAM, July 13, 2021 (BSS) - A cargo lighter ship named 'MV Hang Gang-1' sank after colliding with a sinking ship near Bhasanchar area of Bay of Bengal this morning.
 
However, none was killed in the incident.  
 
The ship owned by Messrs Z Shipping Line was carrying iron gas pipes from Chattogram to the Padma Bridge.
 
Md Selim, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) said that a ship named MV Fultala-1 sank at the area on Saturday last.
 
The BIWTA official said the sailors boarded a near fishermen's boat after the incident.
