DHAKA, March 23, 2022 (BSS) - Three Nordic countries envoys posted in Dhaka today paid a courtesy call on the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter's JS office here.

The Nordic countries envoys were Ambassador of Norway Espen Rikter-Svendsen, Ambassador of Denmark Winnie Estrup Petersen and Ambassador of Sweden Alexandra Berg von Linde.

During the meeting, they discussed several issues related to Bangladesh's long-standing friendly relations with the Nordic countries, Bangladesh's socio-economic development, expansion of trade and commerce, women's empowerment, climate change and parliamentary friendship groups, a press release said.
