JHALAKATHI, June 1, 2022 (BSS) - A day-long workshop on implementation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 10 special initiatives was held at the district circuit house auditorium here today.

Jhalakathi district administration and governance innovation unit of the Prime Minister's Office jointly organized the workshop on "Prime Minister's ten special initiatives" at 11am.

Barisal Divisional Commissioner Aminul Ahsan inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Johar Ali in the chair.

It was addressed, among others, by Superintendent of Police Fatiha Yasmin and District Council Administrator Sardar Shah Alam as special guests.

Participants, divided in 10 groups, in the workshop gave their recommendations to implement the special initiatives.

A total of 100 participants including officials of various government and non-government departments, public representatives, media personnel, teachers and civil society representatives joined in the workshop.
