DHAKA, June 5, 2022 (BSS) - The government today promoted a total of 33Additional Superintendents of Police (Adi SPs) to the rank of the Superintendent of Police (SPs).

Public Security Division of the Home Ministry has issued a gazette notification signed by its Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das in this regard.

The government has given the promotion to these Additional SPs upon a recommendation by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of the Home Ministry.

According to the ministry notification, the newly promoted SPs are-Addi SP of Pirojpur District Mollah Azad Hossain, Addi SP of Munshiganj District Md Mahfuz Afzal, Addi SP of Police Headquarters Khandkar Golam Mawla, Addi SP of Police Headquarters Dewan Jalal Uddin,

 Addi SP of Sirajganj District Mst Farhana Yeasmin, Addi SP of Dinajpur District Sachin Chakma, Addi SP of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Bina Rani Das, Deputy Sergeant At Arms (Addi SP) of Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat SM Sirajul Huda, Addi SP of Kushtia District Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Addi SP of Dhaka District Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Addi SP of Bagerhat District Mir Md Shafin Mahmood,

The Ministry has also instructed the newly promoted officers to join to the Senior Secretary of the Public Security Division directly or through e-mail immediately.  
The promotion will be effective from the date of the joining of the newly promoted officers.
