DHAKA, June 21, 2022 (BSS) - Former registrar of the Supreme Court AKM Shamsul Islam died this afternoon. He was 71.

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of AKM Shamsul Islam, also a former senior district and sessions judge.

The chief justice prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
