NOAKHALI, July 15, 2022 (BSS)- Advocate Lutfur Rahman, father of heroic

freedom fighter and former president of Bangabandhu Awami Ainjibi Parishad of
the district Shamsul Hasan Miran, died at his residence in Sadar upazila of
the district early this morning.

He was 93, family sources said.

He left behind four sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-
wishers to mourn his death.

His namaz-e-janaza was held after the Jumma prayers in Sadar upazila and he
was buried at his family graveyard later.

League Convener and Chairman of Subarnachar Upazila Paridshad Principal
Khairul Anam Salim, Mayor of Noakhali Municipality Shaheed Ulla Khan Sohel
and former Member of the Parliament Md Shahjahan expressed profound shock and
sorrow at the death of Advocate Luftur Rahman.
