GOPALGANJ, July 22, 2022 (BSS) -Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh

Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Professor Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed today
paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

After laying the wreath, the VC stood in solemn silence for some time as a
mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.

Later, he offered a doa seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of
Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful
August 15, 1975.

A special prayer was also offered wishing for longevity of the Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina.

Assistant Proctor Dr. Bashir Ahmed Joy, Associate Prof Dr. Nazir Uddin
Mollah, Dr. Yari Mahabub, Dr. Indrajit Kundu, Registrar Dr. Mahitur Rahman of
the BSMMU were present, among others.
