DHAKA, July 23, 2022 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Bangladesh Betar Director General (DG) Ahmed Kamruzzaman.

In a message of condolence, the minister said the working life of Kamruzzaman will be an inspiration for the civil service officials.

Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for eternal peace of departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Kamruzzaman died of cancer at a hospital in Singapore while undergoing treatment there. He was 59.
