DHAKA, July 23, 2022 (BSS) - Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and valiant Freedom Fighter Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah.

In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family, a press release said here.

Fazle Rabbi Miah, also Parliament Member of Gaibandha-5 constituency, passed away on July 22 (NY time) in New York while undergoing treatment there.
