DHAKA, July 26, 2022 (BSS) - A daylong workshop for female journalists on cyber security and digital act to enhance their skills in use of information technology and cyber risk management was held today at Software Park in the capital.

A total of 20 female journalists working at print, electronic and online media joined it, said a press release.

CTO Forum Bangladesh, a non-profit organization dedicated to address the IT industry's important issues, and Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendro (BNSK), an association of female journalist, jointly arranged it.

Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority Managing Director and CTO Forum Vice-President Dr Bikarna Kumar Ghosh and BNSK President Nasimun Ara Haque Minu addressed it as special guests with CTO Forum President Tapon Kanti Sarker in the chair.

CTO Forum General Secretary Arfe Elahi Manik delivered the keynote speech on cyber risk and cyber security and digital act.

BNSK Information Technology Secretary Naznin Nahar moderated the workshop.
