DHAKA, July 27, 2022 (BSS) - Md Golam Sarwar, who was discharging duties as
acting secretary at the Law and Justice Division from August 8, 2019, has
been made full secretary at the same division today.
Now, he is the senior most judicial officer working at the Law and Justice
Division, an official release said here.
According to a gazette signed by joint secretary (administration-2) Umme
Qulsum, Md Golam Sarwar was posted as full secretary at the Law and Justice
Division after consultation with Bangladesh Supreme Court.
Born on November 21, 1965 in Taltola village under Kasba upazila in
Brahmanbaria district, Golam Sarwar obtained LLB degree in 1987 and LLM in
1988. He joined judicial cadre in 1991 through 10th BCS. He started his
judicial career as Probationary Assistant Judge at Dhaka District Judge Court
on December 11, 1991.
Md Golam Sarwar became District and Sessions Judge in 2015. He worked with
reputation as judge in Dhaka, Chattogram, Feni, Noakhali and Kishoreganj. He
also observed his duty as joint secretary at Law and Justice Division from
December, 2015, to August 7, 2019.
