DHAKA, July 31, 2022 (BSS) - The second board meeting of Gazipur Development Authority (GDA), which aims to build a modern, well-planned industrial and attractive tourist city in Gazipur and its adjacent areas, was held in the conference room of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works today.

GDA chairman Motahar Hossain presided over the meeting.

In the meeting, a policy decision was taken to determine the area under the jurisdiction of Gazipur Development Authority, prepare the master plan, draft the organizational structure of manpower, recruitment rules and regulations.

Besides, a policy decision was taken to rent a temporary office for the purpose of carrying out the activities of the authority and to send the proposal to the appropriate authority to construct a building at a convenient location as a permanent office.

 The meeting discussed detailed discussion about the overall issues for the purpose of carrying out the activities of the authority.
