DHAKA, August 5, 2022 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayor

Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today paid homage to the noted Liberation
War's organiser Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman, on the occasion of his 73rd birth anniversary.

The mayor placed wreath as mark of respect at the grave of Sheikh Kamal in
Banani area here after Jummah prayers.

Quran Khwani, milad and doa mahfil were held at the graveyard seeking eternal
peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and others martyrs of August 15,
1975 carnage.

Taposh also visited the graves of Sheikh Achiya Khatun, the elder sister of
Bangabandhu, and the father and mother-in- laws of the mayor and offered
special prayers there during the time.
