DHAKA, Sept 11, 2022 (BSS) - Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former lawmaker of Awami League and valiant Freedom Fighter Prof. Khaleda Khanam.

In a condolence message, Quader also the AL general secretary, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Professor Khaleda Khanam was the former general secretary of Mohila Awami League and former Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad.

She died of cardiac arrest at her residence here last night at the age of 73.

Khaleda will be buried at her family graveyard at Kuarpur village under Shariatpur district today.
