DHAKA, Sept 22, 2022 (BSS) - The government has extended the age limit by 39 months for job seekers of direct recruitment to government jobs except Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination due to the Covid-19 situation.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today.
 
According to the notification, job seekers, who reached the highest age limit on March 25, 2020, can apply for government jobs under different categories at ministries, divisions, departments and subordinate offices and statutory and autonomous bodies and nationalised institutions, which were unable to issue recruitment circulars due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
The candidates can apply for government jobs except BCS following circulars which will be issued by June 30, 2023.
