DHAKA, Sept 28, 2022 (BSS) - The 76th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the president of Bangladesh Awami League (AL), was celebrated in the city today through various programmes wishing her good health and long life.

Marking the day, Member of Parliament (MP) from Dhaka-18 constituency Mohammad Habib Hasan along with the AL leaders and workers cut a cake on the premise of Uttara Sector-3 Friends Club ground at 12:01 am.

A discussion was also held under the initiative of Uttara West Thana unit of AL and the AL leaders and workers cut a cake there.

Besides, Uttara East and Airport Thana units of AL organized cake-cutting ceremonies separately in the city marking the 76th birthday of the premier.

Lawmaker Mohammad Habib Hasan attended the programmes as chief guest.

Dhaka North City unit of Awami League Joint General Secretary Md Motiur Rahman, North City Unit of AL Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Md Anisur Rahman, Uttara East Thana unit of AL General Secretary Motiul Haque Moti, Airport Thana unit of AL's former President Shahjahan Ali Mandal,President of Uttara Thana West Mohila Awami League Ruma Azad, General Secretary Sanjima Akter Tanu, Uttara Ward Number-1 Awami Jubo League President Md Saidur Islam Sohel and Uttara West Thana Chhatra League President Shakiluzzaman Bipul were also present, among others.
