DHAKA, Sept 29, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said BNP wants to create unstable situation in the name of movement in the country. 

 "BNP has already started anarchic situation and they have brought terrorists to Dhaka from across the country," he said. 

Bahauddin Nasim said BNP leaders and activists have attacked AL leaders, activists and journalists in the name of movement in city's Hazaribagh area today. 

He told a discussion and a doa mahfil organized by Dhaka City North Unit AL making the 76th birthday of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest at Mirpur. 

He said BNP and his follower's wants to grab state power as they are hatching conspiracy against Awami League and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's worthy daughter Sheikh Hasina. The defeated BNP-Jamaat force has been hatching conspiracy both from home and abroad as the party wants to hinder the ongoing development of the country. 

He also said BNP and its followers are spreading falsehood against the present government as the party does not believe in democracy and country's independence. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir wants dead body in politics. "We will not let it happen," he observe.
 
Nasim said: "We are the soldiers of the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Strict action will be taken if BNP-Jamaat tries to create anarchic situation in the country in the name of movement".
 
He also said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working for the country and its people. The anti-liberation force had tried to kill Sheikh Hasina several times, but she is still working relentlessly for the country and its people braving all hurdles, he added. 

He said the country is moving forward, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh received global acclamation for dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina, he said and urged all to remain alert about any sorts of conspiracy of BNP-Jamaat. 

AL Dhaka City North Unit President Sheikh Bazlur Rahma presided over the meeting while party's Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam and Dhaka City North Unit General Secretary S.M. Mannan Kochi, among others, spoke in the function.
