TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, Oct 3, 2022 (BSS) – The newly appointed Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) M Khurshid Hossain paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
According to RAB press release, the RAB director general stood in solemn silence for sometime as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Father of the Nation yesterday.
Later, he offered doa seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.
A special prayer was also offered wishing for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
After paying tributes, the RAB DG said that Bangladesh is a role model of development in the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the country is setting up milestone of development one after another.
The RAB Forces will work as a partner in this progress by maintaining the law and order situation, he said, adding, “In line with the zero tolerance policy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the RAB will continue its drive against militancy, terrorism and drug abuse in the country.”
Khurshid said that the elite anti-crime force will not tolerate any kind of anarchism or violence in the country.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, every member of the RAB Forces will carry out their duties with the spirit and values ??of the Liberation War.
