DHAKA, Oct 18, 2022 (BSS) - A book titled "World Leader Sheikh Hasina: The Pioneer of Golden Bangladesh", written by distinguished professor of Dhaka University's computer science and engineering department Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu, has been unveiled. 

Shamsul Haque Tuku, deputy speaker of Jatiya Sangsad, unveiled the cover of the book as the chief guest at a function at the auditorium of Dhaka University's Teacher-Student centre.

In this book, the author exquisitely portrayed all the development initiatives as well as immense overview of the technological and economic development of the present government of Bangladesh.

Dr Hafiz, through the book, conveyed the idea of a 'Golden Bangladesh', which was the cherished the idea of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and built by the tireless efforts of public leaders, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Shamsul Haque Tuku, in his speech, said the book on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a time befitting one as it published at the time when visionary and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is being appreciated globally.

Mentioning the sacrifice, tireless work and courageous leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the country, he called upon the university teachers, students and researchers to work to build a hunger-free, poverty-free, happy, prosperous and developed country.

Conducted by the chairperson of DU robotics and Mechatronics department Dr Senjutu Rahman, deans of different faculties, chairperson of different department, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
