DHAKA, Oct 27, 2022 (BSS) - Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today urged sub-registrars to ensure best service to people and to be aware against all kinds of forgery.
"You have to take care so that no one gets harassed while trying to get service from you. You have to give them the best service possible," the law minister said.
He came up with the observations while addressing a function to inaugurate two-day training workshop for sub-registrars at Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI) in the capital, an official release said.
Presided over by Inspector General of Directorate of Registration Shahidul Alam Jhinuk, the inaugural function was also addressed by Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar.
"Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman dreamt of a Bangladesh, where people will get all kinds of civil service fast and without any hassle. The government of Prime Minister Sheikh Haina is working relentlessly to make this dream come true. Government is working to create an international technology-based, modern, efficient and talented human resource in this regard," the law minister added.
Anisul Huq also said the government wants to digitize the whole land registration process by preparing all the employees of Directorate of Registration through modern training for providing people with modern, technology based service.
"We have already successfully completed e-registration piloting project at 17 sub-registrar offices. On the basis of this experience, we have prepared DPP (development project proposal) to launch e-registration activities in all the sub-registrar offices across the country and sent it to Planning Commission," he added.
