DHAKA, Oct 27, 2022 (BSS) - The 20th death anniversary of noted Advocate Sirajul Huq, father of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, will be observed tomorrow.

In observance of the day, the Awami League and its associate bodies of Kasba and Akhaura Upazila will organize a milad and doa mahfil and a discussion meeting to pay respect to veteran lawyer Sirajul Huq, a close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
 
He was also chief prosecutor of Bangabandhu murder trial.

Advocate Sirajul Huq was born on August 1, 1925, in Paniarup village in Kasba Upazila of Brahmanbaria, he was one of the organizers of the Liberation War.

He was a former presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League.
