DHAKA, Nov 1, 2022 (BSS) - Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Amulya Ranjan Halder, Pirojpur district unit of AL advisory council member and Nazirpur upazila Parishad chairman.

In a message of condolence, she prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to bereaved family members.

Halder passed away this afternoon at the age of 83.

He is survived by a daughter and two sons.
