DHAKA, Nov 14, 2022 (BSS) – The office bearers of the Bangladesh Police Women’s Welfare Association (Punak) today paid a courtesy call on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun at his office at the Police headquarters.
Punak President Dr Tayyaba Musarrat Jahan Chowdhury led the delegation and greeted the IGP and handed over floral wreaths to him at the hall of pride of the headquarters.
During the call on, Punak President informed about its present activities and future plan to IGP Chowdhury Abullah Al Mamun, also the chief patron of the organisation.
She sought overall cooperation from the IGP to further strengthen its image through different welfare activities.
The IGP said that Punak is a traditional organization of women of the police family.
Day by day the organisation’s activities have been expanding. He assured to the Punak leaders to extend his all out cooperation and support.
