DHAKA, Nov 22, 2022 (BSS) – Light fog is expected to feature the early hours tomorrow while the weather would largely remain dry during the rest of the day as the winter apparently sets in gradually across the country, the met office said here today.

“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.  Light fog may occur at places over the country during early morning,” the forecast said.

The met office today recorded maximum 30.2 degrees Celsius temperature in Sylhet and minimum 13.3 degrees in Rajshahi.

“Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country,” it said.

The Sun will set in Dhaka at 5-11pm tomorrow and will rise at 6-19am on Thursday.

The met office, meanwhile, reported the depression over Southwest Bay and adjoining West central Bay to have weakened as it moved west northwestwards covering areas of neighbouring India’s Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coast.

“It is likely to move west-northwestwards further and weaken gradually. One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay,” the forecast said.
