DHAKA, Dec 9, 2022 (BSS) - BNP has received permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to hold a mass rally at Golapbagh ground in Sayedabad area tomorrow. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner (DB) Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the matter to journalists. 

He said, "BNP asked for permission at Kamalapur Stadium for the meeting, but today they sought written permission for the rally at Golapbagh ground".

"In view of their application, after discussing with the DMP commissioner, they have been allowed to hold a rally at Golapbagh ground," he added.

He said, "Strict security system would be taken
around the Golapbagh field as it was planned for Suhrawardy Udyan and police would be ready to deal with any kind of situation." 

Meanwhile, BNP's media cell convener Zahir Uddin Swapan and member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to BSS.
