DHAKA, July 4, 2021 (BSS)- State Minister for Culture Affairs KM Khalid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of eminent lyricist and poet Fazal-e-Khuda, who is known to all for the iconic patriotic song “Salam Salam Hajar Salam”.

In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release issued here.

According to the release, Khalid said that Fazal-e-Khuda, creator of many timeless songs, will live forever in the hearts of music-loving people through his creative work.

The noted lyricist passed away at Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital in the capital around 4 am today due to Covid-19 at the age of 81.
