DHAKA, July 22, 2023 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister today hosted a cultural evening in honour of eminent politicians, foreign diplomats and media personalities. 
 
The information minister and her wife Nuran Fathema welcomed the guests at Samson H Hall at Dhaka Club in the capital.
 
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Land Minister M Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Saimum Sarwar Kamal, MP, Prime Minister's Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman, AL Advisory Council Members Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abddur Rahman and AL Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, among others, joined the function.
 
Besides, Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma, British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke, Japanese Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori, European Union Envoy Charles Whiteley, Saudi Arabian Ambassador Essa Youssef Essa Al Duhailan and France Embassy Charge The Affairs Guillaume Audren de Kerdrel, among others, were present.
 
Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Md Humayun Kabir Khandaker, BTV director general Dr Jahangir Alam, mass media personalities Nayeemul Islam Khan, Naeem Nizam, Santosh Sharma, Nasima Khan Manti, actresses Aurna Biswas and Nusrat Faria and actor Arefin Shuvo, among others, took part in the function.
 
Konal, Anupama Mukti, Mehrab and Sabbir performed the cultural function while Tusti and Neharin conducted it.
